Default Ultra classic idle issues
Ok I've tried numerous ways to set the idle on my 01 ultra. I've done exactly what the service manual says and it still doesn't idle faster when it's cold. When I was going through the steps to set the cold idle and you have to let it warm up to atleast 250 degrees I get the idle set and once it gets to 270 it won't idle right. What am I doing wrong here? I'm very aggravated and ready to throw the towel in.

Have you checked for intake manifold leaks at the heads?

Unlit propane torch, dispersing propane right at the intake gaskets.
If the idle changes, you have a leak there.
