Default CB Connectors

I've got the detachable tour pac on my 2008 Ultra and it has the Harley AM/FM relocated antenna mount. I want to hookup the CB the same way when I remove the pac. My question is: will I have to have a coil like the one in the tour pac or will a loaded CB antenna do the same job. Also, where can I buy the small connectors that look like a 259 but smaller? Thanks.

I suppose you could but the loaded base that was part of the kit for Street/Road Glides without Tour Paks. I'm not sure on that part of your question. For the other part you can do like I did when I made my 02 Tour Pak removable. I raided the parts from the 09 and up kit and got the patch cable for the CB. I used the frame mounts for the Street/Road Glides to mount both antennas. It makes the setup similar to the 09 and up setup. If you check my profile you can find some pics I attached to a post showing what I did. I don't have a need for the CB when the pak is removed. Only when I am on a road trip and I want to check traffic info via truckers. Good luck.
