I have an 01 Ultra with a stock seat and rider backrest. The backrest has a bar at the top that is digging into my back. I want to take the backrest apart and add some foam padding on that top bar. I noticed that if I look into the pouch of the backrest, there are some staples holding the flap together. Has anyone pulled those staples out to add padding and can I use a regular staple gun to re-fasten the pouch once the padding is installed? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
