All I can say is- I'm very pleased- Don't know what its going to do the the mileage I was getting- but WOW- lots of power- quick response- NO Pinging. Any of you 2010-2011 FLHTK 103" owners out there who are sitting on the fence-- DO IT! It really woke this 103" motor up.
Thanks to Jamie & Keith at Fuel MOto for putting up with this ol guy and supplying me with an ear-to-ear grin, and with great service. I know that if something comes up- a phone call back to Fuel Moto will get me where I need to be.
Kudos to Fuel Moto..

2011 FLHTK STAGE 1
Did you have any difficulty installing the Stage I Intake (assuming you used the SE Stage I kit)? A friend said something about having to remove some bracket???

Default stage 1 kit

There's a induction module bracket behind original back plate. Just two screws..Some have to raise tank rear up a little with two by four, but I could get my small fingers and hex tool in there and finally got them out. There was a couple things clipped to it, but just zip tied them out of the way. Piece of cake.. Well worth it and didn't have to pay stealer $80 an hour to do it.. Go for it.

The fuel moto package and the guys at fuel moto are the best! I know the stock systeem was holding it back, but I did not know how much. The V&H head pipe really helped to get rid of the heat and the cat! At about 4000 miles I noticed I had to give more throttle to keep up speed. Dealer told me it was normal! BULL! It was the cat. When I took ff the stock head pipe it was a bright blue! After all adds, the perfomrance was up, heat was down! Did have some loss of fuel economy bit I'll take that compared to the stock problems!

Agreed. An allen wrench is all you need to remove the bracket. There is no need to raise or remove the tank like the manual says.

I have the 2011 FLHTX. I have the V and H pipes, nothing more at this point. Its really not that Im trying to hold back the cash, Im just interested in getting the most bang for my buck!

Can anyone suggest the most efficent way to move all the way to the completion of the Stage One kit, and more importantly, what to stay away from? Thanks, RangerSix!

Just completed the install to one of my bud's bikes of the new stage one air cleaner from fuel moto. You no longer have to remove the bracket! Makes it easier!! When he got back on his bike, after I did all the install for him, he called me and said he could not believe all the power the bike had. Told him it was like trying to run a mile with you hand over your nose. NOW the 103 can breathe and run like it was ment to!! Fuel moto is great!!

Good stuff! Another guy here looking to do a Stage 1 on my new FLHTK. I'm liking what I'm seeing and reading and really leaning towards a power package from Fuel Moto.

Cheers
