I bought the non adustable one and installed it on my Road King. Didn't like it at all. I have it for sale on Ebay now. I tried every position and none of them were comfortable to me. I'll just keep riding with my sundowner seat. My back doesn't bother me when riding anyway.
Does anyone have a picture of where the adjustable lever gets installed? Looking at buying an adjustable setup and was just kinda curious about where it goes and what it looks like.

I bought the adjustable backrest and I love mine....It has also been the best money I have spent on an accessory. (my wife would argue that it was her kuryakyan adjustable passenger pegs..LOL) It was easy to install....the lever to adjust it forward/back is hidden behind my heat deflector, yet still easy to find when cruising down the road and trying to readjust it....and as stated earlier, it's also very easy to remove it and store it if you want. Buy it, you won't be sorry!
Lever goes under left plastic heat shroud.Remove battery read the dumb destructions from HD fifty times.Bout an hour install.I have had mine a month and I will never remove it.Make sure you protect seat where the split is.GET the adjustable.M&M has a great deal.
