Default Drivers backrest

Planning to get a drivers backrest for my streetglide , but before spending the 220.00 bucks I would love to get some feed back from those who have one, is it worth the money?

Best money ever spent on my bike. I spent the extra and bought the adjustable one and absolutely love it. I have NO more lower back issues after riding. There's a plus to it too....it keeps my wife pinned in on her seat and stops her from sliding forward!!!!

I have the fixed mount one and it works great. Some guys have a hard time getting them adjusted but mine was spot on.

I would look at the Mustang drivers back rest that is used with the stock style HD seat. Easier to intall, adjustable with a knurl **** while riding, and comfortable. Back rest can also be used with other Mustang seats should you decided to upgrade/change seats.

I got the non-adjustable... it pushes me too far forward. I've got it set as far back as the slot in the seat will allow - and it really needs to go back any couple of inches.
I guess if you're height challenged, it would work fine. but, at 6 ft - too close.

non-adjustable. Took a few tries to get it just right but found the sweet spot and love it. Once you have one you never want to ride without one!

I like mine. I bought the HD part#52572-09A along with install kit 52589-09A. I have it installed with a tall-boy seat and have no issues regarding a forward push or lack of room.

I had one on my 09 FLHX. I loved the support, but it took some toying around to get it where I needed it. I actually took out a piece of the hinge that allowed it to fold down - this lowered the backrest so that it provided support in the small of my back where I needed it. In the end, it still pushed me too far forward, and I'd think twice about picking one up again. It was a definite improvement for those long rides, though.
