Default Extended Floorboards

I just installed mine yesterday and love them.

Now I get my whole foot on the board.

My question is my toe shifter seems tucked in a little too far now.

Will I get used to it or is there any options.

Going to look at bike later to see if the rear shifter has enough offset to

swap them. I dont think it does though.

You'll adapt. In a few miles you won't event know there is a difference. Your foot will find the peg.

I got mine for a 2011 FLTRX for $39.90 no tax and no shipping charge from http://harleygoodies.com which is a sponsor of this site. You get a discount if you are a forum member. Ordered on the 23rd, was in my mailbox on the 25th. Extremely high quality, nice powder coat to match the original brackets and plated hardware. Can't be beat. It's on the lift now for install.

Possibly one of the best mods done to my bike. I ordered the chrome parts and returned the stock ones in exchange. Your foot will "learn" where the shifter peg is in short order.

Also just installed mine from Harley Goodies. Me like very much Couple of quick thoughts - didn't know how uncomfortable it was until I added. Scrapped on a right-hand for the first time; no biggie, but interesting. I swapped the the toe and heal shifters, the toe shifter is on the outside - makes it surprisingly easier to hit. I have the Kury Ergo(something) highway bar. The bar looks great is very functional, but it even with my small feet in boots, it is very cramped to get in quickly and shift and moving the boards out probably made this just a little worse. I know this will improve with time as my motions get memorized (only had the bike 2wks and accessories less). Cheers, Kevin.

Those are what I have also. Put them on yesterday, I will be riding 500+ miles tomorrow so I will see how it goes. Thanks

I was going to get the harleygoodies but someone on the forum mentioned Kuryakyn. I looked at them and saw they move the floorboards out 1 inch and forward one inch. And being that I like to stretch my foot out and forward it helped.

You'll quickly get used to it. I got the ones from www.harleygoodies.com and got used to it pretty much on the first ride.

I run the extenders on mine and also removed the rear shift lever with Kuryakyn heel shifter eliminator. This spacer moves the front shift level out towards the floorboard about an 1". My shifter feels the same as before I added the extenders.
