Well I see you have forgotten the many discussions we had about tru-duals (hp loss) vs stock header vs 2into1. I was a adamant stock hdr person with good mufflers. Well my hdr pipe cracked and I now am the new owner of Vance and Hines tru duals with ovals. You always said I would come over to the dark side one day. Well I just had it dynoed due to the exhaust change and low and behold the numbers stayed about the same. 101/106. Bike sounds better now. The SEII mufflers were too quiet. The V&H are pretty loud. They are not TREX but tru duals do look cleaner.
I figured you would notice and give me hell for coming over to the dark side after the hard stand I took on stock head pipes. Even my tuner was surprised at the good numbers.
I am not a apes kind of rider. I did put the reduced reach bars on the bike though.

Motor, tranny, chrome FB wheels/floaters, Sundowner & dual exhaust. Can't spot anything else on that very clean '03...have you considered apes?

I was just wondering what specific changes you made to the stock 88" motor to attain those numbers. I'm thinking about going to the 95" kit and I already have Bub's Tru-Duals with V&H basic slip-ons, PCIII, SE Breather Kit, S&S 510 gear set w/ Andrews 37g gear drive cams. Is the "big bore kit" you refer to just the 95" kit. I assume by looking at your heads that they are not stock either.
It is a 95" motor. I have to admit I am not a wrench so I will tell you what a local mech said he did to the motor. He races Harleys and is a local guy. He races a Harley Nitro bike for Voodoo Racing here in Louisiana. I gave him the bike and a pretty much open check book. I told him I wanted much improved performance and reliabilty was nice but not required. It has 10.5 to 1 compression with all Harley HTCC parts. He says the SE parts are good start they just need to be tweaked for much better numbers. He modified the heads to improve them. Not sure what he did but it is a well known mod to the SE heads that he says really makes them perform. It had SE 211 cams but this last dyno he changed cams to a Woods cam I believe. I think it is the TW 6? Not sure as he was looking at using multiple different cams. I know he did much more custom work to the bike but not sure what he did. He says there is more hp in the motor but does not want to push the envelope much further. I do like long rides to Sturgis etc. Bike has been dynoed several times with the numbers pretty much the same. Always over 100/100. Sorry I don't know more but I change oil and clean the bike, that is about it.

Hey 100thRK you said you went from SE 211's to Woods cams? Are the Woods the TW6 ? Or are they the TW6H ? I'm trying to decide between the two. Can you find out and let me know. Thanks man.......
