Ok bountyhunter its time.....
I could not get a hold of Tim (my builder) but the receipt for the recent work I had done has TW6H on it. I have no idea what the difference is.
Thanks for the info that's the one I'm leaning towards. The TW6H is .590 high lift, that requires head work, and the TW6 is a bolt in cam for stock heads. From what I'm told the TW6H is better for higher compression, but some guy's have been known to just use the TW6 with no detonation problems. I'm running S&S 510G whitch is a .510 lift with 10.5:1 compression and I have alot of detonation on hot day's. It seemed to run pretty good for the first couple thousand miles then it started to ping real bad. I'm going to swap out the Cams over the winter with the TW6H and hope that takes care of the detonation problems and maybe give me alittle more low end TQ & HP.

Do you notice any additional valve train noise with the 6H cams? I was told once that those were very "noisey" cams and since I've never heard a motor with them, I was curious what your observations are...???...
Thanks in advance!

Hey Greg,
