Default Alarm advice

Anybody got a recommendation for a burglar alarm for an 09 Ultra? I have the factory version(flashing lights, no start) but think I may need a remote.

Thanks in advance,
R0ckie

Hopefully this will work on your bike. If not, hopefully someone will chime in and say so. No remote, but a very good audio alarm. I use it.

+1 on the radio shack siren. Not sure what you mean by remote. The alarm is activated when the fob leaves the bike

Yes its a good, easy project. 2 of those little Radio shack horns work quite well...one under each side cover... Loud enough to draw attention and make somebody jump...
Key fob sets/turns on alarm when it is around 10-15 feet away from bike. No buttons.

Thanks for posting the link, looks like a good weekend project for me. Xena disc lock/alarm has worked well for me for years. But the downside is that battery needs to replaced every year or so, and needs to carry a extra key for it.

+1 on radio shack sirens. Took a whole ten minutes to install and is quite loud.

I know the radio shack siren is rated at 102Db anyone know what the rating is on the Smart Siren by HD?

That's Crazy! the plug is right there and it just snaps in place. LOL.

I was looking for the Db rating of the HD Siren II.

A little louder then the RS siren, I have both on my bike. The HD siren will keep screaming if it's disconnected or it's wires are cut. Just don't activate both together in a closed garage!!!!
