Ok here's the deal... I just picked up and 01 EG and it came true dual straight piped, 3.5" mufflers or should I say "tubes" lol I'm just trying to be a nice neighbor cause I set off 3-4 alarms at 5am and that's not the greatest thing in the world.
Anyways in an attempt to quiet it down a LITTLE bit I purchased a set of b&e superflows w/ 2.25" baffles and now it's a little to quite for my taste.
Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations to help me out in my situation
I'm running V&H dressers with Rinehart 4"mufflers and its plenty loud. I wanted mine louder so I can be heard on the freeway.....and now I can. I don't set off alarms riding down the streets on the balboa peninsula, but my buddy does. Good luck!

I'm trying to narrow it down to 1-2 alarms
How is the bike running with those mufflers? Any type of tuner on the bike?

Go down to the range and let somebody rip of a full mag from a .50 cal while you are standing next to it sans cans
Hearing your bike or the alarms will never again be a problem.
Get what you want. I remain stock. After 36 years of sirens and airhorns, I can't hear S*&T. Changing my system wouldn't do me a rat's *** of good. If I come up with someone with a great exhaust, I usually feel it more than hear it. Some of them feel pretty goddamn good.
See... I wanna be that guy that makes you feel good!! LoL
I know people's perception of loud is not equal. I'm just trying to get some input on exhaust, some say loud and nice, some think it's obnoxious... I get that.
Maybe it's just going from a straight piped Harley to something with some mufflers that's killin it for me. Maybe it's because I'm riding the bike and not standing behind it when I ride.
I didn't think my 5" straight piped duramax was real loud, Then I let a friend of mine drive it and when he left my house and he put his foot in it and wow! That sumamamabitch sounds good!

Remove the baffles. Weld a cone shaped washer onto an eyehook and put it in the end of your pipes.
You can experiment with different size washers to get the sound you want and save some $ at the same time.
