Have you been riding with 16" apes prior to this mod?
My prior bars were the heritage bars (now available if anyone's interested). I've never had an ape of any kind before. When I first started looking at the Yaffe's I thought I would go with 10", then the 12s seemed to make sense. I put it off a year, by which time I was convinced I should get the 14s. I read a few more posts on this forum and voila!
As for comfort, I'm anxious to give them a good workout. So far I've only ridden them a few miles, and they're very comfortable. There is some adjustment in getting used to the slow maneuvering -- the balance is just a little different.
