Default torque adaptors

Attempting to get some tools together for current and future use. I know I need a 1/2" and a 7/16" 12 point torque adaptors for working on the rocker boxes and such. Are there any other torque adaptors needed for other parts of the scoot? Thanks.

T-27 is used on the bike for hand controls, etc. It doesn't come with the Craftsman set. I bought the Lisle brand at Sears.

Thanks for the reply.

The torque adapters are used to torque bolts in the rocker box. They have a 3/8 drive on one end and are 12 point on the other. They are a specific length so you can use a torque wrench to tighten bolts.

I used a 3/8 the other day. Don't forget to recalc your torque for the added length of the adaptor. The additional length of the torque adaptor can make a big difference in the amount of torque applied at the fastener.

You can find the formaula at: www.torqwrench.com/Info/FAQ.html

Ride safe..............

- Torque adapter for the rear wheel bolts. I believe the bolt is 1 1/2". The adapter lets you put a torque wrench to it without dropping the exhaust. You won't get a 1 1/2" socket and torque wrench on that nut without it.

- A set of Oetiker pliers to re-clamp hose clamps ($19.00 on eBay)

- The HD Oil Filter wrench is cheap and works great

Thanks for clearing that up. I wasn't sure, all I knew for sure was that it's bigger than 1 1/4"
