Default PC V setting...help

hii...my bike is 11 limited with 2-1 VH pro pipe and arlen ness big sucker...
last week i installed the PC V on my bike and use the pc V map that available on their site....
i ride the bike for 3 days, short and long ride.....
i found the bike run not as responsive as before (w/o pc v)....
low rpm 1500-2500....the power is heavy, after 3000 rpm, the power is nice ...i can feel it...the bike will keep stronger after 3000 up...very easy to get 100 mph.....
i edit the map, i lean the map at low rpm area (1500-2500) for both cylinder by 5 point....
try the bike, low rpm getting better, more responsive at the opening throttle, BUT still not as strong as w/o pc V
last night, i removed the pc V...ride the bike....whoaaaa.....the bike came responsive now...everytime i open the throttle, the power sudddenly out....its nice...BUT w/o pc V...when the rpm hit 3000 up...the bike pull not as strong as with pc V.....something like flat feeling uptop
...
im confused now....
NO dyno tune option for me...i stay at very conservative city....village exactly
how if i stay w/o pc V ?? .....in the short term and long term.....
will it damage my engine....??
anyone can help me to decide, thanks

Since you can't get to a Dyno where you live, I'd call or email Dynojet, the manufacturer of your Power Commander. Talk to them, and tell them your exact set-up (2011 ultra, 2-1 pro, big sucker), see what the they say. They might be able to help you tune it in.

Wink

Please try to experiment a little with these different maps for 2-1 headers: 16,25,29,50.
Those are all from the V&H website. every bike is different, and their map might not work as well with yours.

Trima Casi! (Thank you)

Since you can't get to a dyno keep trying to tune it yourself. Put a couple of pieces of tape on your throttle & mark the throttle positions. With that & your tach you can come close to the throttle position/rpm cells used in the map. Adjust up or down in increments of 3 to 5, & keep records & copies of each map change. It takes a while, but you'll eventually get to the performance you want.

im a bit nervous to edit the map...i have no mechanic eperience, and have no skill to tune....
im worry that everything will be getting worse....
