Shifting issue...funny one

I was riding to work yesterday and was pulling up to a stop sign when I discoverd I couldn't down shift. Felt like the shift linkage had broken. Had to pull over to the side and shut down to see what the problem was. Wanna venture a guess as to what I found??? Wedged between the shift linkage and the motor was my cigarette lighter. It had somehow fallen out of the fairing and landed next to the shift linkage. Go figure..
