Less is more.

More is a different bike.

Yeah, I like what I like too and I like the Street Glide the way it is, no offense to any Ultra Street Glide owners out there.

I bought my street glide to do the longer haul, I put about 10-15 thousand miles on a year, and must be getting old. The SG is way more comfortable the my Dyna Superglide Sport. Love the stripped down look, I'll be keeping that look, except for the exceptional long haul, I will be adding a dettachable tour pack. I love that it can be so versatile.

Yeah I have thought about a detachable tour pack too. Something along the lines of the Road King Custom. I am thinking that the leather will be fine for me since it looks nice and I can buy used without worrying about matching the paint. It's not going to be on there except for longer trips anyway.

I spent months agonizing over getting an EGC/Ultra and stripping it vs. an SG and adding stuff to it. I went with the latter. I have cruise control and a Comfort Stitch seat. My SO and I don't plan on doing anything more than two-day trips so a Tour-Pak is unnecessary. I'm happy with my decision and feel I have the best of both worlds: the looks of the SG and the comfort of an Ultra. Works for me (and the SO).

Back in "99" I just got the Ultra. that way I figured I would have it if I needed it. And since then seems like everytime I take a notion of removeing things her lights come on she fires up and away she goes.....
And a couple hundred miles later I just smile and tell her Well I guess we'll just leave em on for awhile

Already been hit by one cager. Didn't see me. So I added passing lamps for safety reasons and now that they are on, I like the look.
