Default Road King mufflers

I have a 2011 road king classic and I'm looking for slip on mufflers that don't require new air breather or remap. I have been told that rush 2" can be installed as a stand alone upgrade. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I like Supertrapp Fatshots. Good exhaust flow and quiet. And tunable. According to Supertrapp, engine does not need remapped.

Ride safe,

Bob.

As stated if you're only changing slip on's no breather or tune are required. You only need to tune if you change the breather to a high flow.

I have the Rush 2.00" mufflers on my 2011 Street Glide with no upgrades to the air cleaner or EFI and it runs fantastic. It's not SUPER loud and everyone says the stock catalyst in the headpipe is what reduces the noise.

Check out Wild Pigs. My buddy has them on his 09 SG and they sound great. They bark nice when he get's on it. But remember the 09's don't have that darn cat., so there will be a difference.

Anyway, you can check out their website: http://www.wildpigpipes.com/

How do the Rush mufflers sound when compapred to the stock mufflers?

I understand that Vance & Hines makes a muffler with a nice, deep-sounding rumble. The Rinehart mufflers sound good, too.

Are the Screaming Eagle mufflers worthy?

I have the Screaming Eagle mufflers on mine. VERY quiet compared to others. Riding buddies tease me constantly about how it sounds like my bike is not even running once they start their bikes!

I don't really know how to describe the sound of mufflers in words very well, but the Rush 2.00" mufflers I put on my Street Glide sound fantastic to me. They sound alot more open than the stock mufflers (for obvious reasons) and they're louder. But... They ARE NOT blasting loud on my bike and I assume that's because of the cat in the headpipe.

They sound fantastic, though!

As far as Screamin' Eagles go, I had the old "track only" style on a Road King and they sounded awesome. They still weren't blasting loud, but probably louder than any modern Screamin' Eagle muffler. I haven't heard the new Screamin' Eagle mufflers, but I bet they're not that different sounding than stock.
