About 1800 miles and I have never noticed a shake or a wobble.
I find the ride and handling charactoristics of my RGU to beflawless compared to my 09 FLSTC.

This bike does shimmy on expanded metal grate bridges, i doesn't jump 6" to the side when driving over tar snakes in the rain....

The ride of my bike is simply confidence inspiring....

Don't worry about bying a Road Glide. The company knows, and are fixin the head bearings. ( Easy repair) I bought a 2011 Road Glide ultra last Aug,and just had my 5k service done. No problems at all. This is my 2nd RgGlide lov em.. Also just a note, on the left side of the steering head,u'll see a Grease fitting, some dealers fail to grease it. The factory only hand packs it for assembly. I use High temp super blue grease,It will take at least 20 to 25 pumps with ur grease gun. Stop when you see it starting to come out the bottom of the steering neck. I will not drip down under high heat. Good Luck, Alzie

My 08 does it. But only if my hands are off the bars. One finger touching the grip dampens the wobble. Fall away is within the new spec but still a little wobble on decel. Now I think my front tire is a cupped. Due for a tire change in a couple thousand we will see if that helps. I have learned to live with it.

well then i guess you'd better cool your heels on any 2011 bike. the touring bikes all share the same drivetrain, frame, suspension (either 12 or 13 inch shocks), etc. the only difference is the 'trim' package, windshield, batwing, or shark fairing, a few more electronics....

7K on my 2011 RG Ultra right now.
First day I rode it I had a slight wobble when slowing down at about 25-40 MPH. dealer check neck bearing adjustment that was ok. It turned out to be a defective tire they changed it out as soon as neck bearing proved ok and never had a bit of problem sense.

When you slow down with the rear brake below a certain speed what you feel is the pulses of the rubber mounted engine starting to shake in its fore and aft plane.

Some confuse it with a problem. But is what an HD with the rubber mounted motor does at slower speeds with the rear brake applied.

Any one that does not think so when you get down to the speed where you feel the shaking just let off the rear brake and only use the front to stop.
