got a diamond seat, got it the friday of Memorial day weekend. Have put 1400 miles on it and let me tell you it is just like sitting in my recliner!!!!It does raise you up just a little. Even in 97 degree heat, it still gives no butt burn! It is not the prettiest, but I donot think any are more comfortable. When riding I can not see it anyway!!

is that diamond seat a harley part? i've not heard of it, but went to rte 66 and bought a sundowner for my 08 streetglide. at my height, it sucked. the diamond seat must be vented also? tell me more. i live about half hour south of muskogee and get up to tulsa often, although recently i broke my back trying to lift my triumph rocket 3 after it fell in my yard. so that means i'll be down for another six or eight weeks. let me know who makes that seat, it might be even better than the 09 roadglide seat i have been using on my 08 streetglide. thanks, jim near checotah.

Jim, How tall are you? I've been looking at the sundowner seat, but don't want to get it if it's gonna suck due to my height. I hope your back heals well and quickly.
KBK, I too would like to know more about this diamond seat. Who makes it, where you got it, price, is it comfy for a passenger, etc. I'm looking for a 2 up seat to help get the wife on the bike. I don't care how it looks when riding 2 up. My only concern is comfort. So, how is it for the passenger? Thanks for the info too.
the seat is made by Diamond seats out of florida. I had used them on all my honda goldwings over the years. you have to give them your mearsurments, height, wheight, inseam, they build the seats to fit you. I tried an ultimate seat, had stock seat redone by MCC and nothing helped. this is nice!!!! I do get the velour insert, makes it so much nicer in the hot weather. the seat with back rest and rain cover runs around $800. shiped. Wife loves the seat. You can go to thier web site diamondseats.com but you have to call them to order or questions. I have used there seats since 1995 with no problems! I am 6'1 I have had 2 back operations, and currently have 3 bad discs in my lower back, so really needed a good seat.

the seat with drivers backrest, and rain cover plus shipping was right at $800.00. Thats a lot but the ultimate seat, which I could not stand was $1200, so to me this was a very good investment.
