Question Reach Seats

I just noticed that there are 2 new Reach seats:

1. Reduced Reach Seat
2. Super Reduced Reach Seat

I may be in the minority, but I actually find the stock seat comfortable, I have done an 11 hour day (275 miles mountain miles) and have been fine. I would like another inch or so when stopped.

Questions:
1. How comfortable are these seats for the driver?
2 How comfortable for the pax?
3. Is the seat pan lower (i.e.-take away the area beneath the seat where I have the PC-V)?
4. How does the Reach Seats compare to the Sundowner?
Any and all answers will be grateful.

Thanks,
Cale

If your happy with the stock seat then why not just have the insides shaved a bit. thats what I did and it lowered me down enough to flat foot. Also added a gel insert. Really comfy now!

Did you shave it down yourself? I have to do something that I can do or is easy plug and play. It is a daily driver for me, with me being overseas, it would take upwards of a month for mailing to someone, getting it worked on, then having it mailed back to me.

I have the basic REACH seat.
I find the seat quite comfortable, but I like a FIRM seat.... I've have this seat since Oct '08 35,000 miles +/- and I like it.... my daughter says it's comfortable when she rides on back... but she doesn't really know any better

The REACH seat moves you forward, and down, about 1.5 inches in each direction. If you lke the stock seat, you might be better off, having an upholster trim the nose, and narrow it a bit.

There are places like Mean City Cycle, who will rebuild your seat with better form, and contour the seat for you.

Most dealerships, will allow you to dry fit the seats on your bike... Only your butt, can answer which feels good. Take the OL with you, for her input, on the seat

I like the firmer seats myself. I have had Mustangs on my other bike, but they sit you up a little higher, I know that is not what I want.

I am going to European Bike Week in September, this is Europe's Sturgis. Going to give them a look when I get up to Austria.

Default Super Reduced Reach Seats

Has any bought or tried the Super Reduced Reach seats? I have an 09 StreetGlide and would like it a bit lower without changing the suspension. Your thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered the super reduced reach seat for my 09 StreetGlide, I'll post my impressions when it gets here.
