My stiching started coming apart at 21,000 miles. Rather than spring for a new one ( I'm cheap), I had mine recovered in chocolate brown ostrich trimmed in black. Looks wicked cool and only cost $125!

vtwin1340 - that's a great-looking bike. And I got on the Aerospace 330 website. I've never used that product, but I'm gonna check it out. Thanks. Still gonna get the cover, though. Had been thinking about a half-cover to protect my painted inner, but the HD cover is a little pricey for what it is. I like the $34.99 price.

just toss a white towel in your saddlebag. whenever your bike is sitting outside in the sun, put the towel over the seat tucking in the edges so it'll stay in place. the seat will be not blistering hot when you get back on for the ride, and it'll help to prevent the sun from damaging it as much as without the towel.
