OK - Almost ready for paint on my Dragonfly project (it was 50% destroyed and now glassed and just needs some fine-tune shaping.
I need some advice on what type of sleeve or grommet I should use on the mounting stud since the Dragonfly mount's slots are much narrower than the setup on the windshield mounts (where the stock windshield mounting grommet would normally go).
The top ones are removed and you just tighten down the bracket and sandwich it all together. That way a thief at least needs a 1/2" wrench to get it off and run with it.
