Default Gotta carry a cane

I knew this day was coming. Blew out my knee in 07 and the lower back in 08 and finally hung up my badge and gun, let the the younger guys and gals deal with the morons. So now after a long poker run or toy run, walking around can be a real chore. My only solution is to carry a cane. Does anyone else have this problem? Where do ya put the dammed thing short of bungee cording it to the luggage rack? Any suggestions would be apprciated..

I like the telescoping idea, sounds like a winner. Also how is your health as far as weight and muscle strength. Strong abs go along way to help with back pain, just start slow and don't over do it. Highway pegs help to keep the blood flowing and fight fatigue on longer rides also.

I bought one of the folding aluminum ones from the RX. It easily fits in a saddlebag or tour pak.

I think that there is the bungee cord fold out kind available.

Try here http://www.canemart.com/c/mens_folding_adjustable/.

Sorry to hear it.

Wife has MS and needs 2 canes, we find the folding adjustable ones fit neat in the saddlebags.

Folded in four, I guess a small pouch/bag strapped or bungied to the bike would do the trick.

I picked mine up at Wal-mart. It fits in the bags of a Heritage just fine.
