congrats on the new bike; they stopped making standards in 09; they were the SG's before there were SG's

Yep. I have nothing against EG's. They are a very retro-looking motorcycle with classic lines and sex appeal. It just didn't stir my insides like the SG did.

I'm looking forward to learning all I can about the SG and HD while here on HDForums.

Congrats on the new bike.

Good thing you road tested both;would have sucked to buy something you didnt really care for.

Exact opposite happened to the wife and me.We drove the EGS and the SG;the SG ride wasnt for us.She said it was as bad as our Softail.

I payed 15800 otd on a brand new crimson red sunglow 2008. No cruise. Would have gotten another flht if they were still being made last year. Should u buy it? Yes. Should u pay that much? No.
