2011 RK vibration
has anyone noticed an increase in vibration in the 2011 RK with the 103 . I traded from a 2004 RK with an 88 and noticed an increase in vibration mostly in the floorboards and in the handlebars during a full stop..
I am new to the forum and just bought my first Harley, A 2011 Road King Classic with the 103 engine, At a full stop, the rear cylinder bypass kicks in automatically and the vibration does increase, But the amount of heat from the rear cylinder decreases as well so I don't mind the vibration.
Not to be a smartass, but Harleys shake and a 103 is gonna shake more than an 88.
I came up from an 88B to a 103. You want to talk about a difference!
I get vibration in the floorboards up to about 2000rpm and then it fades. I think of it as a built in foot massage.
