Need some help...I bought an 02 RG with the intentions of converting it to a street glide. Bike is a theft recovery with no fairing- inner or outer.
Here's my dilemma....
I really wanted to put the silver faced gauges on, and have seen many for sale at a reasonable price online, however- I've read the 04-07 gauges won't work on an 02. My dealer keeps saying they'll fit, and those are the part numbers he keeps giving me. I don't want to buy these gauges and be stuck with them. I know everything but the speedo and tach are the same. So, what gives? What is the difference in the speedo and tach in the 02 vs 04-07?
