Default Full-time Spots?

Anyone happen to have any advice on wiring my spots to be on full-time (instead of just low beam)? I had my old bike set up this way and I'd really like to set up my Ultra in this fashion (especially since there is a "spot" switch on the dash that I can use to kill them when needed).

Thanks

Simple, run main passing lamp wire to switch or best way is to aux switch on dash, then you have option of having them on all the time or turning them off if need be. Wiring conection for that switch is visable when you take seat off, tells all about it in owners manual.

Maybe I'm misinformed on this, but I thought they are wired to go off when you are on high beam cause it exceeds the candlepower legal max in some States.

??

Quite likely so, but I'd rather be seen than be legal. It's more important to me in daytime riding. I've always seen a bike with multi-lights sooner that I see one coming with a single beam. Of course with the "spot" switch, you can always turn them off at will.

(I also usually run a modulator on the main beam, but I haven't gotten one yet for my Ultra)

I wired my spots to the 12vdc wire on the Aux switch as shown in the rewire link above. The spots can still be turned off with the spot switch, but not with the Hi-beam switch. The visibility is much better when the hi-beam is on, and I have not had any other problems as a result.

Yeah, though I haven't rewired, I support you in having stuff all over the bike that gets the attention of cages. Man it's gettin so worse every year that I'd wear a beanie with a flippin propeller on top if it would help the CellPhoneHeads to see me![:@]
