I own a road king and I love it, only problem is i would like to find a compact but good quality sound system I could put on my bike without looking bulky. Any suggestions? would like to hear them.
Have you looked at the Harley "Boom Audio" stuff? I've heard them and they ain't too bad. Not alot of bass but hey, it's a small speaker. I'll be getting one myself when I get the $$.
Also, check E-Bay, lots of systems there.
I've tried Rumble Road Speakers, and the Kuryakyn Sound of Chrome Speakers. My personal experience is that neither is much good over 45 mph. The music is drowned out by wind noise.
Try a good pair of sound isolating earphones with an mp3 player. Personally I use a pair of Shure E2c earphones connected to a 2nd generation iPod shuffle. The iPod clips easily onto a jacket or vest, and the Shures fit nicely under a full face. The foam inserts on the Shures work just like earplugs to block the white noise of the wind.
