After thinking about it for a few years I finally decided to have them installed. After chatting with the vendor I was told that some states don't allow only blue lights, especially when they are flashing, so I went with the chameleon light set that I can change colors on with supplied remote.
I like the way it came out. What is everyone's thoughts on them. Cool or not?
If you like em thats all that matters. Personally its a mod I was never attracted to....always had other things to spend the money on that seemed more useful...but when I go to a rally I always hit up the night parades to check out the lights. They do look cool. Just wouldn't put em on mine.
Its your money, do what makes you happy and make the bike your own.

Normally I don't respond to posts about these type of lights on bikes but since you asked cool or not, IMOP they are not cool and make it look like a clown bike that screams I need you to look at me.

Wow. thats pretty harsh oldguy but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. Wasn't to bring attention to me but to the bike.
At any rate I've yet to run with them on just to kind of show off at bike shows. To each their own and I do appreciate you opinions. Like I said I thought about if for a couple of years before I had them installed.
You are exactly correct so why make something as beautiful and eye catching as a Harley look gaudy and cheap by sticking carnival lights on it? We all have different tastes and I would have never replied to the OP's post if he had not asked if we thought it was cool or not. Every time I see a harley with those lights I think of the movie the Electric Horseman with Robert Redford in it. If you have ever seen the movie you'll know what my frame of reference is. Again each to his own tastes and what he thinks is cool.

I like them. I personally wouldn't have them on when moving, but I like it when parked. Easy to find your bike too! Read the other posts. Geez Louise, I guess you opened yourself up for someone to chime in 'I wouldn't have that girly sh*t on my bike, blah blah blah', but there's always some downer in the crowd. If you like it, then it's all good. What was the cost? Just curious.
