My fuel gauge has just started to go to 3/4 only a fill up and when it gets low on fuel and hits E it stays there a long time before fuel light comes on now.
anyone else have this happen?
I've not noticed that. The gauge goes to full when the tank is filled.
On a recent ride up north, I was on E for a while with the light on. When I pulled up to the pump the range indicated was single digits.
To be honest, I just use the gauge as a rough indicator. I reset the A odometer at each fill-up and use mileage to gauge my remaining fuel.
Thanks, I think I will start doing the odometer setting for now on too. Just thought it was odd it just started doing that, guess the float is sticking or something.
Curious, how many miles are you guys getting between fill ups?
