Fork Oil For Lowered Forks??

I'm getting ready to put new chrome forks on the RK with 1" lowered springs installed. I've read that people have had issues with denting the top of their front fender by bottoming out. I plan on lowering the fender in the future, but I'd rather not dent it up in the mean time and I don't want to sacrifice the ride too much. From my dirt bike knowledge, fork oil makes a huge difference. What is a good brand and weight fork oil for these heavy *** beasts!! This ain't no dirt bike!!
