Flat Tire Repair??

flat tire blues
I've used a plug kit that uses mushroom shaped plugs. Comes with all the tools needed for installation. Glue not needed, air pressure, and the shape hold it in place. Installed correctly, never had a problem, and wore the tire out. never lost any air, and I checked it frequently to be safe. Worked well, no matter the load, or any possible abuse from going a bit fast. I also now use a sealant that is way friendlier to use than slime, and it helps balance , as well. Can't see tossing an almost new, expensive tire because somebody's a worrywart, or just wants that sale. Just be careful, and do a GOOD job the first time.

I've had good luck with plug kits on everything from atv's to truck tires.
just an FYI to anyone considering the little CO2 canisters for filling, get the filler adapter with a valve to release the contents, and do not hold on to the canister with a bare hand while discharging. it will freeze to your skin. you'll need at least 5 of them to fill a tire to 35-40 psi.
