Interested in these. Can you tell me if the flag is able to slap against the antenna. In the past with some different flags hitting the antenna, have found them to loosen the antennas. Friend actually lost one that way.
The mount does allow the flag to hit the antenna.
The mounts are very solid--if you plan on leaving flags on at highway speed, get the 6"x9" flags--the 10"x15" parade flag will actually wrap up around your antenna and the flag pole. If you'd like to run the parade flags at lower speeds, get the mount for the parade flag (comes with a 13" pole) and get extra 6"x9" flags--the 6"x9" flag will fit on the 13" flag pole, but the parade flag won't fit on the 9" flag pole.
Haven't had any issue with my antennas loosening up on me yet--I'll start checking more regularly now though--thanks.
Does anyone know who makes the three flag mount that attaches at the antena base so you can still use the Aur Wing luggage box while the flags stay mounted?
I bought some flags and masts from Rumbling Pride. I used some old horn brackets to mount the flags using the existing studs for the two antennas on the tour pak. Just remember to use a lock washer under the antenna and only hand tight. It will stay and remain in place. Been running them for over two years in Rolling Thunder and leave them on the bike 24/7. Here are a couple of pics. You can fabricate the bracket from anything.
