2011 Ultra Limited. Added the NIM and iPOD interface with saddle bag holder. iPod will not restart after the bike warms up a little. I have unplug and replugged to get it going. It always reverts back to the first song. Then when you hit shuffle...same set of songs. Any help appreciated. Only 800 miles on it.
Nope, not a shuffle. I had it into the dealer this morning. The CVO site has several of the same issues. I put the NIM and Ipod interface on the bike before delivery. The volume has a mind of its own. Stays low and then blasts. Ipod comes on about 25% of time. Also the Garmin 665 turn by turn directions are the same. Some loud and some you can't hear. Trying to work it out with HD now. Thanks.
Excuse me for asking dumb question, but can, (and if not, why not) an ipod just plug into the aux input using a male to male cable and work OK, is anything else needed? Thanks.

Because with the ineterface setup you use the handle bar controls to run the iPod.
and the info will appear on the radio screen.
