Communication system question

Hello all

What is the best communication system out for use with half helmets? We were riding skyline drive this weekend and saw a few couples with systems wearing half helmets. Never had a chance to talk to anyone just saw them in passing.

We use the IMC Motorcom Half Helmet Headsets. They work GREAT. They look just like the Harley headsets and are considerably cheaper. They work great with ANY helmet but a lot of times I even wear them with a ball-cap. You can wear them with no hat or helmet and they sound great!

Thanks Texas. I forgot to mention I have an 03 RKC so I need wireless set up or Bluetooth? Really not sure what I need... Also saw a few couples riding solo with sets to communicate with each other. Thanks

That's cool. im going to try the scala q2 team pro pack or whatever the f its called.

pops and i are riding to Maine this fall and want to be able to talk. ill keep you posted on the details

IMC helmetless headsets here also...I use them with my J&M CB setup. If you go with the fullface or modular ge the J&M...sounds a bit better

Scala is nice but limited to Scala... The CB setup to me is a lot more versatile....J.M has weather radio and a hook up for a MP3

I read they have a half helmet kit. Anyone know anything about them? I will look up the other suggestions as well. Thanks

My fiancé and I use the Scala q2 sets. We just returned from a 2700 mile 9 day trip. She rides her own bike so we use them for bike to bike comms. they worked flawlessly the whole trip. Battery life was awesome, we rode for up to 12 hours a day and the charge lasted until about the last 30 minutes of the riding day.

Look em up, we bought ours from amazon.com for 172.00 for the pair.
