03 RKC 56,000 miles and would feel comfortable riding it anywhere. Just got back from skyline drive last weekend. Cam tensioners changed out at 52,000 miles. I think you are safe with a RK any year you choose. Buy what you can afford and fix it up the way you want it to be.
