Black ceramic slip ons, chrome headers
Considering American Custom slip ons for the 2009 FLHP. I like the black vs. chrome thing I have working and am wondering if anyone out there has a bike and pic of a Road King with black ceramic slip ons with chrome headers. I sure would like to see what the dichotomy looks like in real life as I consider this. I've not seen a bike set up like this yet, maybe for good reason, who knows?

I have recently been thinking about something similar - recently on a long all-day trip I leaned the fuel mix on my bike too much trying to eek out a few more MPGs and my right muffler turned a golden yellow........my brother and I thought it looked kinda cool - though I replaced them with the previous pipes I had on them - but it got me wondering if there were any gold or polished brass mufflers out there............would match nicely with the chrome and gold eagle emblems they have out there.

I'm in Bobcaygeon, not quite neighbours, but definitely crossing paths I'll wager. Did you powder coat or paint the guards?, the more I look the more I think I may do the same next winter.
