after spending a fortune on phone calls I have come to the conclusion that adding factory cruise to my 06 Street Glide is not going to be happening thing. in its place i am leaning towards the Kuryakyn Electro magnetic throttle assist. Has anyone used this kit and what are your thoughts. i am aware that some of the features may not be available for the 06, and thats ok. other than that does it work????
I don't have any experience with the Kury unit , but I used a Throttlemeister setup on my last Buell Lightning XB12S. http://throttlemeister.com/index.html
If you don't have throttle by wire or heated grips , these are the cats butt for sure.
The weights are heavy enough to tame much of the bar vibes and it sets with your pinky finger on the fly.
It can be throttled down without loosening it also.
Just a thought if you've never seen this unit , I really liked mine.
