Default Which to Buy??

Found these two for sale. Which one is a better buy? Going to do a 95" Conversion to it.

02 Electra 27k miles Stock
04 Electra 19k miles Stage 1 with Upgrade Pipes

Will offer $8000 for either

not sure about the EG's but I believe the 02 and older RK's with the TC 88 have a stronger crank bearing with slightly tighter tolerances.....

Read up a little everyone says the combination of the 2002 EFI is the best, with the Delphi EFI and lower end. But honestly I am not sure you can go wrong in either case.

I forgot to add that the 02 is CARBED! I know of the Forged Crank and Timken Bearing on the 02's. Does the 04 have any adversities?? I heard the Crank is not as strong. Will it still hold to a 95" Kit?

Thanks

It will hold up to a 95". 2002 is just stronger on the bottom end.

On another note .... the transmissions on both are better built than the new bikes.

2 years newer, 8000 fewer miles and upgrades, is this a trick question?
Big question is will either accept your offer?

Forget the mileage, it's meaningless. The 2002 is the better platform for the 95" upgrade; near bullet proof bottom end, solid gear box, carbed and if you can get it for $8000, that's a buy.
