Here are a couple of quick pics of my new FLHX. I was riding a tricked out Cross Bones but while it looked cool as hell IMO, it was seriously uncomfortable to ride long distance due to the 16" apes and the lowered rear end. Couple of weeks ago I decided to test ride a Street Glide and ended up getting a deal I couldn't pass up, including a generous trade in offer for the Bones. I've had the new bike about two weeks and have put 900 miles on it so far. It's a joy to ride and definitely more comfy all around, which is what I was after.
I'm just getting started on mods. So far, I've upgraded to Hog Tunes speakers, along with V&H Big Radius pipes, S.E. Heavy Breather and a Power Commander V. I've started adding the Harley "Edge Cut" accessories with the grips, pegs and brake pad and have the Edge Cut footboards and matching pans on order.
I plan to get a solo seat next and then in the Spring will probably go for some 12" Monkey Bars.
very nice - I looked at that model for a while and tried to justify the price especially with the special financing they have out right now, but couldn't pull the trigger.
