I know the jack thing has been beaten to death but for those that haven't bought one yet I'm here to tell you that the customer service at J&S is second to none.
I recently had an issue with mine and it was quickly resolved these guys rock. So if you are considering a motorcycle jack I think you'll be happy with the J&S.
Agreed. I had the bottle jack go bad in mine. I called them, no receipt and couldn't remember when I bought it and they sent me a new one without question or hesitation.
I recently called them about my 4 year old jack no longer lifting so I figured I needed to buy a new bottle jack. The guy could have sold me one easily (only $40) but he said to first pull the rubber plug on the side and add a couple ounces of fluid and give it a try. I did and it fixed it. They also sent me a set of the new style floor bolts free.
Great to hear this. I was trying to go the cheap route and purchased a Harbor Freight yellow jack today. Got home, put it together and lifted her up. Not bad, the bike wasn't stable enough for my taste but when you released the jack to let her down...Man be ready for a fast descent. I think for a smaller bike the HF might be ok but for my Ultra Classic I think I need a much better jack. Scared the heck out me. So, I pack the jack in its original box...took it back and got my refund.
Now, I saving up for a J&S or Pitbull jack now. I suppose you get what you pay for.
Great product and great people. A pleasure to deal with.
I bought my J&S from my neighbor. The bottlejack was shot. I called J&S and and told them I bought the jack used and I thought it was less than 2 years old bt wasn't sure. They sent me a new bottle jack no charge.
Wonderful customer service and the jack works as advertised. It lifts the bike without having to even touch the bike and the oil pan works very well.
