hey out there! looking for a new saddle for my ultra classic. love the bike and everything about it but the saddle.
thought about the hd zepplin, and the road sofa. any thoughts. thanks
just got a used mustang sport touring seat for my road king custom. very happy with it. has a deep bucket to give some lower back support and the padding is stiff enough to support your rear end, but not too stiff to where you get pins and needles. you can grab one new for $400, or keep your eyes open on this site and you may pick one up!
The absolute best saddle on the market is the Russell day-long. For some reason, don't see too many HD guys with them. Discovered the Russel when I had my BMW R1150RT. You send Russell your stock seat along with photos of you on the bike and your measurements. They tear the seat down to the pan and rebuild it to your specs. What makes the Russell so comfortable is that they utilize springs to support you.
I've had Corbins, Mustangs and a few others I can't remember. The Russell is unmatched for long distance comfort. I think their web address is day-long.com.

I have the Sundowner Touring Seat, and really like the additional padding. It's comfortable for all-day touring. However, it moved me about an inch closer to the tank, and raised me up about a half inch.
