Has anyone else had a problem with their products turning color after a short time? I put the ovals on my 2011 ultra, no intake changes and after about 400 miles the right side turned gold. I talked to Jessica at samson gave her my number 5 days ago she still hasnt called me back. What shoud I do. At $1.00 a mile I cant afford their products.
I have contacted them two more times and still haven't done what they said they would do. I was waiting so I could post good results but looks like this will be the results.
I wiil keep after them until they can tell me why they havent done as they said they would.I believe I have waited a reasonable amount of time.I gave Jenifer my #to call if she needed too. I guess they just tell you what they think you would like to here and then ignor the situation. As you all can read in their inital response they acted as if they really cared about customer service.I guess im just a little fish in the big pond. Believe me 20 years in the Marine Corps compells me to never give up. And always keep the score even.So at this point its more being wronged than being screwed. And to my other brothers. So mote it be!!
Hello randy1352,
Please give us another call and we will take care of you right away.
thank you,
JR
There are a LOT of folks on this forum and a LOT that watch for exactly this sort of thing in making a decision which suppliers to do business with. Forum sponsor or not, JR and Samson need to step up to the plate and do what they said they'd do. I'm in the market for pipes myself and the way they're treating you sure helps me to eliminate Samson from my "short" list of suppliers.
Promising and NOT delivering is worse than ignoring you.
Stay after them. I had the same problem but I did get several thousand on mine before the right one turned. Maybe they will make good on yours since you only have a few hundred miles on them. They didn't on mine. Kind of a long story but dealer made good on mine since I bought the pipes through them. Samson would not deal with the dealer though. I had to pay for new pipes and dealer reimbursed me. Good luck with Samson!

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experiance also.I am not trying to get something for nothing.I first contacted them and was pretty much told to bad also. After posting here they decided to say they would help me.I thougt 400 miles was an indication of faulty chrome or something. Its become more of an issue now to make sure nobody else on here has the SAMSON EXAUST experiance you and I have had. At this point I doubt I even put their product back on something I love so mucht.Mabey on the other hand I should put them back on and ride with them to Sturgis. Bet they will really look good when I get there and park next to them and advertise a little.Ive already excepted the fact that I made a $400.00 mistake.
