FWIW, if I can't figure out how to fund it all as a power package, I'm going to do the 4" slip ons first, then A/C and Power Vision at the same time, then the full headers last.

That's usually the order I've done and it's worked for me in the past.

I would not recommend using 2 quiet baffles with true duals. This would be too restrictive and would retain a tremendous amount of heat in the exhaust system.

The only issue you may run into is the heat from the CAT could blue your right muffler. That CAT gets very hot and it's right in front of your muffler. Your left muffler should be fine, just something to keep an eye out for.

With my stock header on my 2010, my Rinehart slip-on blued pretty bad.

Really. Maybe I ought to hold off until I can do the whole power package (slip-ons, PV and A/C to help cool it all down), and then do the headers...

Just have to save up a little longer that way...

How do the 4" Jackpots fare on a bigger inch motor (120") with V&H Power Duals head pipe, too restrictive?

Thanks,
Rick

It's kind of a backwards way of thinking Rick and I'll tell you why. I got my jugs bored out and cams installed a couple of weeks ago. I chose the cams because of mainly I heard they had awsome sound. Got the scoot back from the shop and excitedly fired it up and couldn't really tell anything different from the way it sounded with the stock cams. I am running the stock cat headpipe remember Rick. So to hoepfully give me the sound I originally wanted I went with True Duals, am I going to notice any difference in performance, doubt it, really doubt it but I'm pretty well certain that it'll sound they way it want the SE204's to. Does this make sense? I would've went with Rineharts as first choice but couldn't justify just buying the Jackpots last season only to shelve them for mufflers that fit the specific Rineharts.

Correct....to a certain extent, don't want to choke it too much and Frank, (Dragos), Doc's Performance and Rush all said that to get the optimum performance out of the Rush TD's go with the 2" baffles.

BTW, the QB setup is for use with exhausts with crossovers, so if you go with TD's you'll have to use a muffler with symmetrical baffling.
Thought about the quiet baffle, but to tell you the truth, after going from dresser duals back to stock header with 4" Jackpots, I just don't like the sound. Plus it drones some at certain cruising speeds. On level ground cruising down the road they sound fine. But I don't have much level ground here so I'm always "twisting the wick", thus I'm constantly hearing this roar from the right side only. It just hasn't grown on me yet. I still have my old dual mufflers. Almost sold them but decided to hang on to them and wait and see. Plus Jamie said going to the quite baffle would hurt my performance a little bit, probably not any worse than duals would. Maybe I should give it a try????

Video like pics are not a true representation but here's the 3.5" on a stock system minus the Cat's: This is without using the Quiet Baffle which will arrive on Friday.
