I got my Jackpots on over the weekend. I took a ride and really like them. they have a deep sound and its a few clicks louder than the stock pipes. The chrome looks great too! Here's a pic;
Everything FM told me about the slips were correct. Exactly what I told them I wanted and in the end I got with them. They sound great. One thing is that after about two thousand miles I was warming the bike up in the garage one day and noticed bits of string spitting out the right pipe. FM immediately offered to fix it or send me the parts to do it myself. I elected to get the packing sent to me and they got it up to Canada in a very timely matter. Still haven't figured out what to do with it but when I get time I will phone them and they can walk me through putting new packing in. They have never heard of that before and wanted me to send the old inners back which I will. Good service on a good product IMHO.
I just put a set of 4" Jackpots DT's S/D on today and went for a 50 mile ride before the rain hit.
Wow, I'm very impresssed with all aspects, they even go on easier than others.
I have cat-less, SE ac and download and they sound almost loud as my old Evo's 2" Rushs.
Highly recommend these mufflers....and the price is fantastic!
Thanks Jamie, well done, very NICE!
BTW, got the old Harley sound back.....okay almost, hard to forget my evo/shov same fired coil roots. But it will do fine and they sound the best out of all the others I've heard..and I listen for that old sound...this is close!
most talk bout the 4" has anyone using the 4.5 i like the looks of the straight cut with the caps just would like some reviews ii have a couple months before bike gets here.
I have the stock head pipe with the 4" Jackpots and SE 255 cams. Too loud for me (getting old I guess, had straights on my last bike). I will probably switch back to the V&H Dresser Duals. Not sure about mufflers yet, maybe something in the Super Trapp design. I would consider a trade. Mine have less than 1000 miles on them.
Im gonna be putting on the 3.5 jack's this afternoon and i dont have a cat in the header so im concerned thry may be louder than i want. Ive got the quiet baffle coming on Friday just in case i need to tone it down some.
I'm changing things up again. Even though I love the sound of them with the cat-in headpipe, now I've purchased true duals and I'm worried that they will be too loud and that will be with 2" baffles. Hope I don't have to go to quiet baffles as that will kill the performance. I'll post up as soon as the duals are installed.

Why true duals if you are worried about performance ?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the quiet baffles will help give back some of the performance you'll lose with true duals.
