Default Red Line Fluid change.

Ordered in a fluid change "Kit" from Racer Parts Wholesale. Includes five qts engine oil one qt primary oil and one quart transmission oil with shockproof. Just did the fluid change for the first time on a Harley. I did the engine oil last time but my first on the trany and primary. My question is the shop manual says to use 38 oz in the primary. I
only have a qt. Looks like I am 6 oz short. Do you guys just dump a qt? I can see fluid while it is on the jiffy stand but Made the mistake of not tilting it upright before buttoning it up. I am guessing I need to order another qt. It is not up to the level of the old oil before draining. What do you think?

Pick up another quart. Top off the primary and keep the rest for the next service. I'm running Redline in my transmission and noticed improvement immediately, if the same is true for the primary, I'll switch from HD Formula+ to Redline. What say you?

Only have put bout 200 miles on since change but so far the bike and I both like it, put it in all 3 holes wasn't as concerned bout using it in the motor as I was the tranny and primary.

Thanks for the offer. I am in Ohio so it looks like the best thing to do is just order another qt. Sure wish I would have seen it needed more than a qt before as I ordered enough stuff to get free shipping. The good part is even with std ground I can get it in a day. So will place the order and it should be here Wed due to the holiday. I can top it off before bike night.
Thanks guys!

If you have a Cycle Gear store near you they carry all the Redline products (at least they do down here).
