The caps help a lot. I hardly even notice my dock anymore, but I guess I've just gotten used to it.

Can someone please share the part number of the elusive "long" or "different size" BLACK CAPS for the 4 point dock?

I hear rumors that they exist, but where? One Harley parts guy said yes, the other said no... Good grief.

Anybody have these? Share part #'s !!

Thanks

Come on brother...
Tell us where you derive your emphatic NO from...

You are on the hot seat now.

Here's the ones I got for my 4-point dock. Mine are chrome, but maybe this will help you track down the black part #.

FYI the 4-port requires 2 of these kits....

Notice how your upper two caps do not cover the entire thing? That is not as big an issue when all is chrome

When you buy the black it is an issue as the caps are too short and the chrome shows and stands out.

The black 4 point needs "longer" caps for the upper two mounting points.

Some people claim to have seen such caps in the wild... We are waiting for proof! (and hoping too!)

I see what you mean now, even in the parts catalog with the black 4-point and the docking covers it still shows some chrome.
