1500 miles in under 24 hours is a bit much. You would have to avg 62.5 miles an hour nonstop to make it in 24 hours. Factoring in stops for gas and leak breaks you wouldn't be able to do it. Plus fatigue??? Don't try it. You'll end up killing yourself.
Yeah I have Tampa, Atlanta, and Nashville to worry about I'm thinking of leaving in the evening and ride trough the night and I will be traveling during the week so rush-hour could be a problem.
Yeah, doom and gloom. Don't try it. Sell you bike and don't ever ride anymore. If possible, walk and be careful with each carefully planted step.
Good lord!!!!!
I've ridden from Charlotte NC to Pheonix AZ (2117 miles) in 36 hrs. It was pretty tough. I stopped for two hrs in Odessa TX for a thunderstorm and two hours in Tucson AZ for a nap. Read the Iron Butt wsebsite for some insight and information. The only problem I would see is after you get on the Keys the speed limit is very slow (we were just down there in Oct and it took 3 hrs to get to Key West from the mainland). Don't pay too much attention to the naysayers, if you are in good shape, stay hydrated, and are of course prepared you can do it. Just remember you have to have a pretty high average trip speed so stops must be cept to a minimum and be fast.
1500 miles in 24 hours? If you figure at about an average of 50 mph (which includes pit stops for fuel and restroom), you would only do about 1200 miles. Good luck with this one, but I don't think it is possible.

50mph?? maybe is his prostate is swollen and it takes 30 minutes to take a leak....
He will however need to have everything to fall into place to do it......I say dont chance you hurting someone else......
