Okay, spent another weekend ride on our 2011 EGC and have more questions...
1. The rear shocks are not absorbing shocks. The ride is brutal on our two lane highways. Seems like they have no travel. Almost like riding a hardtail. Checked the PSI with my suspension pump and the PSI was set at 35. The two of us currently tip the scales total at close to 400 pounds. Suggestions?
2. Wife is complaining about the heat coming off the right exhaust...Suggestions?
3. Wife is complaining that the saddle bag guard bar is pressing against her lower legs. Suggestions?

Remove the Catalytic converter and get the mid frame air deflectors.

KC gave probably the most correct answers and beyond changing out shocks, going with more air pressure in the shocks is the only short term fix I can think of as well. You can run as high as 50lbs in those shocks according to your owners manual at least on my 09 and I am assuming the 11 is similar.
Captain Itch makes a great heat deflector if you want to support a forum member!

IDK Man, sounds like you'd be better off leaving the wife at home!

I'd be thinking about trading the OL in.... You'd be nearly 200 lbs lighter and have a quieter ride....
Read your owners manual, it will tell you what your air should be for two up. Do a search for right side heat and you'll know why it's so hot, and how to fix it. Good luck!
The EG Classic doesn't have the heat deflectors right underthe seat does it? Maybe try them. Also, air up the shocks to 50 psi and see if that helps. You can also raise the rear foot boards up, check to see which hole they are currently in and see if you can raise them a hole or two. Easy to do. Good luck. You could also do what a friend of mine does. Tell the wife to sit down, shut the f*** up and enjoy the scenery. Gets a laugh every time. At least from all of us.
