I have nearly 17k on my E-3 rear and it still has 4/32 tread on it.

E3's. The bike just seems better planted with them. No white walls though

Having only experience with the stock Dunlops that came with my 09 Street Glide.

Like NoBoldRider had the front replaced due to defect at 5,000 miles. Currently have almost 20K on the stock rear and still have 5/32 left.

When it's time to replaced based on the reviews I've seen here and elsewhere about the E-3's I'll be going that route.

The 2 times I've replaced other tires with Dunlop E3s, I was surprised at the difference. My bike rides better and takes curves like a completely different bike. I won't run anything else.

I liked my Metzlers 880, but switched to Michelin Commanders due to some concern about Metzlers having problems that are made in Brazil. After a 1000 mile weekend trip on the Michelin tires I feel they are even better than the Metzlers.

Default Metzler on my electra glide 2005

I don't think I will use the metzler again as it seems to slide in the rain sometimes. the full dressers is to heavy I think. the dunlop seemed
to ride a lot better for me.

Started using E-3's several years ago and wouldn't use anything else. Just changed my rear tire, it had 15,600 miles on it. When you ride over rain grooves, you don't even notice. On my last front tire, I got 32,000+ out of it.
